MarketSpace Capital hires Eddie Rodarte to lead acquisitions and investment operations.

MarketSpace Capital, a Houston-based private equity real estate firm focusing on ground-up developments, value-add opportunities and direct equity investments, has hired Eddie Rodarte as Director of Acquisitions. Rodarte will spearhead the firms efforts in coordinating real estate acquisitions and development strategies for the MarketSpace Capital Partners Fund.

Rodarte’s responsibilities will be multi-faceted and include evaluating and assessing potential acquisitions, divestitures and development and re-development opportunities, as well as identifying and leading other efforts to maximize the profitability of both the fund and its investors.

Prior to joining MarketSpace Capital, Eddie worked for a number of years in in the oil and gas industry and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for an engineering and exploration firm based in Houston, Texas. His career has been marked by success in a number of industries, including engineering, brokerage, investing, leasing and marketing.

Eddie holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is the proud father of four children and six grandchildren.
